Nuevo recopilatorio de bootlegs de The Beatles

Si eres seguidor de los Beatles, esta Navidad tendrás una nueva sorpresa de la banda. Un portavoz del grupo ha confirmado para la NME que un nuevo álbum de rarezas y bootlegs se lanzará esta semana que viene a través de iTunes, aunque aún no haya fecha concretada. The Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1963, que así se llamará el lanzamiento, tendrá un total de 59 pistas, 15 temas de estudio inéditos y 44 en vivo para sumar a las ediciones de Live At The BBC y On Air: Live At The BBC Volume 2.

La música de The Beatles llegó en 2010 a iTunes, y ahora la salida de este nuevo álbum se ve impulsada por la ley de derechos de autor, que implica que todo el material que no esté ya editado puede ser tomado de forma gratuita o incluso comprado por otros una vez transcurridos los 50 años de su creación. El lanzamiento de esta compilación estaría motivado por la intención de proteger los cortes de la banda de Liverpool y dotarles de copyright para que no caigan en dominio público.
